Tip 6: Decorate the room

25/07/2016 - 11:39

  • Take your time: decorating your home and preparing for a Home Party may take time. Will you go the whole hog or do you prefer it casual? The choice is yours!
  • Dress it up: all the little details will help make a Home Party an unforgettable experience. Hang all kinds of decorations in the front yard or entrance hall, use balloons or little flags, mood lighting, a well laid table, etc. and dazzle your guests.
  • Ask for help: you don’t have to plan your Party all by yourself! Your neighbours can lend you more chairs, your colleagues can bring something in the way of snacks, you may even know someone who has a party tent!
  • Music: with playlists you have music for each kind of setting and atmosphere; use your music player, try online services such as Spotify or ask one of your guests to bring music with them.

Tip 7: Countdown to your Home Party

25/07/2016 - 11:38

  • Send a reminder to any forgetful friends.
  • Make it easy for yourself: feel free to make certain dishes a day in advance. One-pan dishes mean less washing up.
  • Charge up your camera so that you can capture all the fun during your Home Party!
  • Set the table, arrange the room, seating, etc.
  • Be sure to enjoy your Home Party. You’ve spent all this time setting it up, don’t forget that you should have fun as well!
