i have mixed emotions about this machine. It works ok but I do not think it is worth anywhere near the money they want for it. Not even the money that the Insiders are charging us for it if I am honest. And the cookery book they send you with it is a joke. I told them i was not able to hold a party and told I was unsuccessful but the machine turned up anyway. I was then told there would be £100's worth of bonus stuff included in the package for us to find out it was a chefs hat (I have never worn a chefs hat in my life) an apron (not worn one of those since school) some cheap tiny shopping bags to give to friends with money off vouchers in them and a vegetable peeler - all together now -OOHHH. Now I have seen the posh version of these at the Good Food show and it is only a couple of hundred pound more than this and it does SO much more. It weighs the food and it gives you the WHOLE recipe right the way through on the machine step by step. All you have to do is put in the main ingredient and on the screen and it even gives you suggestions. Compaired to this where the recipes are not even in any real order. You then have to press each and every button until you find the correct program as they are not labelled the same as the recipe book as one says P1-P3 and the machine just has pictures of things. Yes it makes a good risotto which I have never made before but I have an all in one machine that i bought not so long ago that I think does that that i paid about £50 for. So I think i will be returning this one as £199 for the occasional risotto is a bit steep i think
Still waiting on refund, despite having had to send you my credit card statement as you 'couldn't find my payment'! I received an email from you on 24th November, almost 3 weeks ago now, saying that you had received the proof of payment and it was all you needed to process my refund. So where is it???? I expect to hear form you within the next 214 hours or I will be contacting my credit card provider and initiating a charge-back due to goods never received. I would urge anyone else in the same boat to do the same. This has been an absolute sham of a campaign, with absolutely terrible communication, and I will never participate in another!
I cannot wait to try this out. I haven't been able to keep my mouth shut on this project. I have shown all of my work and guests have now increased to 15. I am so excited to try this out for my friends birthday. Hope all goes well with it. All my guests are coming so let's hope the tefal comes too. Eeek

Just a very quick note about the deposit, which seems to be causing a bit of consternation: The deposit will be taken upon completing the entry survey / questionnaire; however if you are unsuccessful with your application to become a Party Host, your deposit will be reimbursed within a window of seven business days (previously this was 30 days, however it has been deemed too long for those not selected).
Should your application be successful, then at the end of the campaign you have the option to keep the Tefal Cuisine Companion, and we will retain the £199.99 as payment (this is a considerable discount, given the usual retail price at £699.99). If you do not wish to keep the device, then you should return it and we would reimburse your £199.99. You can read more in the 'info' section.
